Content generated in JavaScript has to be rendered by Google first to exist. Three approaches, three levels of risk.

SSR: server-side rendering

The HTML arrives complete: the best option for SEO, content visible immediately.

CSR: client-side rendering

Content is built on the client: slower to index, best kept for private interfaces.

Hydration

A middle ground: HTML served then enriched with JavaScript, provided it is well controlled.

How long does it take to see results from a technical SEO audit?

It depends on complexity. Simple fixes (canonicals, robots.txt, tags) show results within 2 to 4 weeks. Deeper work, such as optimising Core Web Vitals or reshaping the crawl of a large site, is better measured over 2 to 3 months.

Is technical SEO more important than content?

No, but it is the foundation. Without solid technical SEO, your content will never be crawled, indexed or ranked properly. The two work together: the technical side opens the door, the content brings the visitors in.

Do you really need to analyse server logs?

Yes, as soon as you go beyond a few thousand URLs. Logs are the only source of truth about what Google actually explores: they reveal wasted pages, zones never visited and abnormal crawl spikes that no other tool shows.

Which Core Web Vital matters most?

LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), meaning the time until the main content is displayed. It is the signal that weighs most on perceived experience and the one most often degraded by heavy images or a slow server.

Should I use server-side (SSR) or client-side (CSR) rendering?

SSR is preferable whenever SEO is a priority: public content, blogs, e-commerce. CSR suits app interfaces behind authentication, where indexing does not matter. When in doubt, favour server-side rendering or well-controlled hydration.

How do I know if my site has an indexing problem?

Compare the number of pages in your sitemap with the number actually indexed in Search Console. A large gap points to unintended noindex tags, robots.txt blocks or canonicals that send Google elsewhere.

Should e-commerce facets be indexed?

No in most cases: filters and facets generate a flood of near-duplicate URLs. We block them from crawling or set them to noindex, keeping only the combinations with genuine search potential indexable.
